This award just recently became warranted, as the 2,000 days of retention benchmark was only first breached this year by Giganews. Also, due to the nature of the Award, there will always be a long list of providers, (we hope,) that will be listed as UsenetReviewz Gold Star Provider Award recipients.
This award is in recognition of all the hard work that it takes to achieve and maintain this level of retention. Because 2,000 days of retention goes a long way back. And that’s the list of Gold Star Providers, in no particular order excepting Giganews, who was the first Usenet provider to cross the 2,000 days of retention benchmark. Congratulations to all the Gold Star Award recipients. We know that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication it takes to achieve and maintain databases of these sizes.
