For the last 12 months the marriage between Golden Frog and Giganews has been one that all their membership has enjoyed immensely…if the postings and raves are to be believed. They started out in 1994 with high quality newsfeeds, and have done nothing but move up from there. In the beginning it was tough, we’re sure. But through the years they have continued to strive to gain the reputation that they enjoy today: One of the best, most reliable Usenet services available.
For the year we have been watching as Giganews added VyprVPN service into their offering, and later in the year they also gave up the goods on their Dump Truck online storage service to their members. They also added in the new WebDAV support for their online storage. Although their memberships are a little pricier than the rest of the Usenet providers, if reliability and speed are of more concern than money, then these guys are the ones to go with.

And that’s just a few of the times that Giganews has caught our eye. There were a lot of other times, but far too many to list here. But this is to be expected from one of the most well respected and customer oriented companies in any industry. And in a few short years, Giganews has managed to become deemed as the Limousine of Usenet services.
