NZBXS is a Spotnet-based indexing site. NZBXS is offering Usenet indexing service. However, it does not host any files themselves and are not responsible for any content their users upload and download from Usenet.

As mentioned on their website, “This site is merely here to list what’s on there and even if this site would not exist the content on the usenet servers are still there.

Currently registration is closed with NZBXS. If you are lucky enough to be a member already, you can log in on site. However, it is quite unclear if being a member unlocks any distinct features compared to free users of the site. Compared to other Spotnet/ Spotweb-based sites, NZBXS alaso has ads supporting it and it works similarly like other spot-based indexing sites.

Highlighted Features

  • Free registration (but currently closed)
  • Advanced search options (filters)
  • Documentation link to Spotweb github
  • Maintenance updates
  • Fast searches
  • Ads: Yes
  • Privacy: HTTPs certified
  • Unlimited API access (for registered users)
  • Integrable with Sonarr, Sickbeard, Radarr, CouchPotato and other automated media searching tools.

Interface

The NZBXS site has a pretty basic interface similar to other Spotweb-based sites like NZBStars. Like the mentioned site, it does not have any forum section but users can comment on files and discuss topics and issues with other members.

The site also has filters where you can sort files according to relevance, title, poster, date, comments and rating. You can also set the file size and limit age.

Conclusion

NZBXS has caught our attention just recently when we came across a list of indexing sites on Reddit. We are uncertain how long NZBXS has been around but based on the current status of NZBXS, it seems like they have been active for quite some time.

As a Spotweb-based indexing site, it works similarly as other indexing sites that operate using the same platform. It features fast and filtered searches and can be integrated with automated media searching tools using API access.

While NZBXS is easy to use, a secure site and is a free-use platform, it is currently closed for registration with no updates if they will be opening for registration again soon. If you are one of the lucky ones to get to be a member of NZBXS then it would be a good back-up indexing site for you to use. For non-members, we’ll keep you posted if registration is back on.
