NZBRoyalty was a popular and easy site to join.

Unfortunately in 2014 NZBRoyalty closed down.

In their own words - they say Retired In Peace. 2007-2014.

A sad farewell we will bid to NZBRoyalty. Their website, now shuttered, has the following message displayed:

“What a sad sad day 🙁 I’m really sorry for this news. With great sadness and regret we have had to close the forum.

F.A.C.T have today 12/02/2014 @ 4.15PM contacted us with a Cease & Desist notification.

Here is the email with a PDF attached…. (I’ve not included the ref case number as I have not received permission at the time this went live. If I get permission I will include it (awaiting on an email reply) )”

The page then displays a FACT Cease And Desist Notification which openly threatens the recipient with the possibility of jail time. The letter cites the conviction of Anton Vickerman, (Owner of surfthechannel.com) who got four years in jail for facilitating copyright infringement.

According to the site admin, they attempted to rectify the situation, but that the FACT regulations were just so impossible to follow that this was the next, best solution.
