Nzb Matrix Server Problems Lead To New Hardware Upgrades

November 5, 2011

At first we thought it was us, but there have been issues in the past few months during high traffic hours on the NZB Matrix servers. Now they are back up and running, and in fine form…we might add. The NZB Matrix development teams had mentioned in the past that their single core server units were more than 6 years old and needed replaced, and they finally did it. They replaced their old servers and now the site is better and faster than ever before. All the API’s, RSS feeds, gateways, and even NZBxxx is staying online and ready.

Our Test Drive Summary

We didn’t stick around very long, but we did try to get them during peak hours, (just to really test them,) and found that the new servers are better than ever. The site was down for just a little bit, but the wait was worth it. You can still check out their status though, at, but according to everything we have seen you will probably get the same results we received, and we were quite happy.

With this hardware upgrade, we’re wondering what will come next, and we did note that the site administration hinted that the website work could begin once the last of the move had been made…we’re wondering what that could possibly be.
