NZB Leech is a quick and easy to use Usenet download client that allows you to download NZBs from newsgroups while on the go. It is a Usenet newsreader and client specifically developed for android users.
NZB Leech allows you to import NZB files in the application and download while you are mobile. It also supports repairing and extracting files. You just need a paid Usenet provider to be able to use this application.

Generally, NZB Leech is free to use. For the first 7-days you will be able to use the application to its full potential. However, after 7 days there will be certain limitations as to your usage, some of which are mentioned on the highlighted features.
After 7 days, you have the option to check out the in-app purchases that are available which would allow you to maximize the use of this software. Pricing of each purchase varies.

As mentioned, you can use NZB Leech for free as long as you want. However, you would only be able to use all of its capabilities for the first 7 days. After the trial period, you will still be able to use the application but with certain limitations.
Usage Overview
As a mobile Usenet client, NZB Leech is easy to use. It works similarly as desktop Usenet clients, so if you’re used to that type of software you won’t have any issues using NZB Leech. The drawback of this app, however, is that it is only available for android users. Based on our research there are no plans of developing an iOS version of NZB Leech.
Installation
To download and install NZB Leech, simply go to Google Play on your mobile device, look for NZB Leech and install the application. You can also use the keyword “Usenet newsreader” which would generate several mobile usenet clients, one of which would be NZB Leech.
Once you have installed the application, open it up and start configuring your settings to be able to browse and download from Usenet.
Configuration
Make sure you have an account with a reliable Usenet service provider to be able to use NZB Leech. You would need to input your Usenet provider account details on the settings of your NZB Leech.
You can add a number of servers. Set the primary server, if you only have one, as the primary server. Having a primary server and a backup server is a typical setup. If a file cannot be discovered on the primary server, only then is the backup server used (this is used to minimize missing file parts).
With regards to article cache, by saving partial files in memory instead of on the disk, this setting helps downloads go more quickly. Android is rigid and won’t let one app use up the entire device’s capacity; for devices with 3GB of memory, this equates to about 256MB. In order for Nzb leech to function, this 256MB must be split between the article cache and other RAM. Don’t give your gadget more than half of the budget. Set article cache to 128MB if your device enables 256MB per app (I display this device specific number in the Setting). Nzb leech will crash if you set it too high because it will run out of memory.
Scheduling & Automation

Usability
NZB Leech works similarly as other newsreaders and Usenet downloaders. Depending on your preference, it may be better than others due to the simplicity of the application since it was developed for mobile usage.
It’s also possible to download to your external SD Card but you have to do some work to figure out the specific directory as Android restricts writing to the sd card , for most devices. The only exception is an app can write to its own designated folder, so this is the folder you would need to determine.
Conclusion
If you are an Android user and would like to explore Usenet clients for your smartphone then NZB Leech is worth checking out. With its simple interface and easy to use features, you would have no problems enjoying the application. However, it is also important to note that it does have its limitations once the 7-day free trial expires. The trial period would be the perfect time to test if the application suits your needs. One more thing to take note is that based on Google Play, the last time the app was updated was back in 2020. That being said, while NZB Leech could be a decent option, there may be other newsreaders and usenet clients that would work better for you.
