NewsLeecher Introduces SuperSearch Watchdog

March 11, 2011

The more beta releases NewsLeecher rolls out, the more features they add to the fifth version. Users have always enjoyed the Supersearch feature in NewsLeecher, and made many great comments about it. But, the crew over at NewsLeecher wasn’t happy, so they increased the pressure on the competition by adding a new SuperSearch Watchdog feature.

The screen capture in this article shows how the SuperSearch allows you to search more than 1,000 days of retention. With this many days of retention to search, finding the files that you haven’t seen yet can become a hassle. The Watchdog feature eliminates this problem by finding the freshly indexed articles, (since any previous searches in the subject or similar subjects,) that you haven’t browsed yet.

We’d like to thank the crew over at NewsLeecher for all their hard work, and all the new features that just keep making the reader better. The new tabbed interface is also a great feature we really liked, we are looking forward to the next release and any new features. If you would like more information on the NewsLeecher reader, check them out in our review. They also have a 14 day free trial that you can download to take for a test.
