  • Platinum $24.99: Unlimited Usenet (downloads, speed, etc.), 20 SSL connections.
  • Silver $14.99:  50GB of monthly bandwidth, unlimited speed, 20 SSL connections
  • Bronze $9.99: 10GB of monthly bandwidth, unlimited speed, 20 SSL connections
  • Pearl $4.99: 3GB of monthly bandwidth, 20 SSL connections

All current accounts with Giganews will remain at the same price, with the same service levels.  Anyone who signs up for or has had a Diamond account prior to 12/31/2010 will remain at the $29.99 price.  There will be no increase in fees to any current customer.

While the price for the Diamond service has gone up slightly its worth noting that their Usenet only top tier plan — the Platinum has actually gone down in price.  Also the Diamond service is also including the VyprVPN service which after a year of testing is now very robust and offers a lot of security when surfing the Internet.
