Update October 15th 2013 — was shutdown

The site will be compliant with LazyLibrarian, Headphones, Sickbeard and CouchPotato, as well as with SABNzbd. The developers say they “don’t care what you connect us with”, so they’re apparently amicable to developing for other methods of connection to their service.

The service is also using SSL, which is vital in these days of ISP and other spying. The SSL will keep you encrypted so that no one can look in on what you’re doing when you’re downloading NZBs once this service becomes active.

The developers are also backfilling at the moment, with about 100,000 releases per day being added to their indexes, according to their updates. They’ve recently added IMDB ratings on their video pages. When you search their indexes, you’ll get the IMDB rating for whatever you’re interested in downloading, which should help to avoid the occasional horrible video and, of course, which is a nice feature just for informational purposes.

Getting In

The site is signing people up as of the 17th of January, but they say that they might have to switch over to an invite system if things get too busy. They’re also taking donations. According to their updates, one user donated only £1, but they’re happy to get whatever you can spare if you’re willing to help them get up and running.

As of the 18th, the site had added 1,500 users in less than 12 hours, showing that there is some interest out there for new NZB indexers. isn’t running yet, so it remains to be seen how the site will turn out in the end. They’re off to a good start, however, and new NZB indexers are certainly always welcome additions to the resources available to USENET users. Their goal is to be the biggest indexer on the Internet. They plan on having 3 million releases indexed and going back 2,000 days, so there will certainly be a lot to choose from if everything works out.

You’ll still need a USENET access provider to download any materials from NZB files. Any of our preferred providers are fine choices.
