Usually this is pretty cut-n-dry, but this year saw the release of Newshostings’ newsreader. And though they only made their showing for a few months this year, what a showing that was. They brought their newsreader out of beta testing in a few months, and gave their members exactly what they asked for, a solid, dependable, easy to use newsreader.
Looking back at the past 12 months for the Newshosting Newsreader wasn’t possible, it was released late in the year for the beta version testing. But what a test it was. They took the input from all their users, including bug reports, suggestions, and feature requests, and combined the best of the features and suggestions to create a full featured newsreader that they can be proud of. It was released from the testing period just before Christmas and all their members were allowed to download the client for free.
