Newsbin Pricing To Be Increased

Newsbin's new Website
Newsbin newsreader recently announced that they will be increasing their price from $15 to $20.
This is a slight increase and please note this is a ONE TIME FEE as compared to rival Newsleecher. Â This price increase is also coming in conjunction with the release of the final version of Newsbin 6.
UsenetReviewz has been testing Newsbin for quite awhile and they are still our number 1 rated favorite newsreader.
Granted things might be different if we were on a Mac and needed to use something different but here is what we like about Newsbin.
- It works! It may not be as pretty as Newsleecher (although this changes a bit in version 6 ) but it works very well and after the initial configuration you just download an NZB file and the remaining unzipped binary file appears neatly presented on your computer.
- It  doesn’t use a lot of resources – Having recently spoken with Newsbin we learned that their background is embedded systems programming and assembly language.  All of this means that you they know how to optimize code and their resulting program is memory efficient and stable
- They offer advice via the message of the day – whether its advice on using 8 connections instead of 30 or the new beta release – usually it is pretty helpful info
