Easynews Announces Affordable NNTP Only Plan
Top Usenet Provider Easynews, one of favorite both for longevity in the world of Usenet and making Usenet easy to use has announced a $9.95 NNTP only plan for new and existing Usenet users.
The retention for easynews is currently 1330 days and after speaking with Easynews today they mentioned that Easynews will continue to be updated in batches so retention will remain competitive with other provider but will be adjusted upwards monthly instead of daily.
Anyways, $9.95 is better than all the major players and as mentioned the retention levels are high.
If you are interested in this plan and do signup – note you will be given the opportunity to try out – FREE of charge for 10 GB – Â Easynews’ web based interface – which makes Usenet as simple as it gets. Easynews has also published a iphone app which we find interesting.
Anyways, the pricing for Easynews is good and you will have to do your own speed tests but testing locally here we are showing about 90% utilization of our bandwidth and currently I am traveling in the southern tip of South America.
